Hi member!
Happy New Year! Gregorian and lunar! I hope that you are warm or cool depending on which side of the rock you live on! It has been some time since We Wear Bras launched, 4/2/22 since the name was registered and it all began. It seemed like a good time to catch up on things happening at the site.
|
We now have over 300 members! Many site tweaks have happened since you last visited, one of the biggest issues was speed of the site, as of this writing that appears to have been resolved! YEA! Some minor changes to navigation and depending when you came on board and there is a group chat function. If all goes well with the chat a private chat may be installed as well. Registration had some changes, albeit mostly to make house keeping easier for me.

If you never logged in, or had problems logging in, stop by. If you are reading this your membership was approved. Still are having problems? Feel free to use the Contact Us, that message will get to us. Please come by and stop in and introduce yourself, if you have not already! We would love to see you! If you login and participate regularly, we are glad that you are here, you are what we are all about! However if you happen to have a few dollars to donate, that would be wonderful! ;) You can read about what it takes to run the site by looking at our finances, you must be logged in to view that information! If you already gave, you are AWESOME! Thank you for contributing to what I currently call Big Red.

A note to the non posters and those that do not login. The system has been set to automatically delete you account if you do not post or login for 365 days. There will be no exceptions to this rule and the time will probably be shortened, but you will be notified before that change occurs.

We had an attempt at an on line Town Hall meeting and pardon the term, it was a "BUST". There was short notice for it and I will attempt to do it again sometime down the road, at two different times since we have members all over the globe. It will be over Zoom and I will keep it short and sweet, since we will be using the free version. I will mail out that notice, next time!

Login Problems?
|
Q: I never received a confirmation email that my account is active, can I login?
A1: Please add our domain to your safe senders list and check your SPAM or junk folder to see if you received a message from: bounces@wewearbras.com.
A2: Try using the email address that you registered with instead of your User ID to login, if you get logged in, go and check what User ID you created when you signed up in your profile page.

A3: Try to log in, your account may have been activated and you did not see the approval message that was sent. If receive a failure message and you cannot resolve it on your own please Contact Us with that error message. Remember that it can take 24-48 hours to return messages.

Q: How do I change my password?
A: If your are logged in, go to your profile page and in the account settings section you may change it there.
A2: If you cannot login because you for got your password, you can use the Password Reset Tool. You must have access to the email account that you are registered with to use the tool! Also, please add our domain to your safe senders list and check you SPAM or junk folder for a message from: bounces@wewearbras.com so that you receive the message with the link.

Site features you may not know about.
|
- Watched topics. When you watch a topic, a list is generated for you and you will see a counter near your avatar that allows you to click on and see the list of topics that you watch.
- Subscribed topics. Very similar to watches but you will be sent a notice via email when someone posts to that topic.
- Thank You's. Clicking on a post adds your name to the bottom of the post thanking them for a nice meaningful post.
- Mentions. This feature is used in a post. To use a message, type an "@" sign and a list of names will pop up, type in the name or select the user from the list that you want to mention. The name will be highlighted when you post and when the user that you mentioned either refreshes their screen or logs in they will see a notice at the top of the screen that they were mentioned in a post and can click that link and go directly to that post.
- Something you want to ask, see different, changed excreta? Use the Contact Us. You do not need to be able to login and this will guarantee that we see you message.
- Dark Mode Toggle. Have you seen that icon that looks like a little flame at the bottom right of the screen? Try clicking on it! Your screen will be instantaly transformed to something remennisant of the old IBM 5250 terminal that we learned to love.
