I have a few thoughts that I would like to share on why you may visit here, to those of you that are members here, this is the public facing forum of our little home here that any one can see.

  • You may be here just because you love the look and feel of your lingerie. Perhaps you are so passionate about it that you may be looking for a safe place to share you thoughts on the topic.
  • Perhaps you have gynecomastia often painfully referred to as “man boobs”.
  • You have discovered that your breasts just may be causing that pain in your neck and back and have been considering a bra, but do not know what to do or how to go about finding one for your self.
  • Now that you have come to the fact that you have breasts, you want to have a way to keep them in control but are not sure where to turn?
  • You may also wish that you have bigger ones or smaller ones and would like to share and learn more.
  • Once you have taken the “Plunge” you can really feel good and even better about your self the you are wearing pretty supportive under things!

As a bra wearer for now over 20 years, it took a very long time to get comfortable with who I am, my hope is that you find out about quicker, so you can truly enjoy life!

These are just a few of the reasons that I cam up why you may be here. My self I fall into the gynecomastia part. I had many emotions that I needed to deal with myself and am now comfortable with the fact that I am typically a 46DDD-G. Let me tell you if you are here for a similar reason, my bras have been wonderful to my back and neck! You need to take care of you and stop worrying about what others think! I have a few pictures of me in my bras, to hopefully give you the encouragement that you may need to help explore what you may need and want in your life. In short, I am saying that you are not the only one out there like that there are many of us! Please consider joining us!

I am a man who has worn a bra for years and I always felt “alone”.

I found this site while searching for a place I could share my experience as a man who wears a bra. It’s a lonely world for most of us.

I’m intersex and was raised as a tomboyish girl until my mid teens. From there I went boy-mode for 45 years. Pulling that off with big breasts and wide hips didn’t go easy. My medical records state both intersex and gynecomastia.

My 50’s brought more breast growth, and of course neck pain. One day whilst getting hot packs for my neck the nurse mentioned that my pain was from all the unsupported weight on my chest. I was seen by occupational therapy as well as the doctor and ‘support’ was prescribed. The first set were chest binders, and they caused horrible heat rashes. The next step was a bra (I had worn my cousin’s bra when I was going through puberty).

The social worker prescribed a gynecomastia forum where I could learn acceptance, and I started finding myself to accept myself. I came to realise I’m still that tomboyish little girl grandma was raising, just all grown up now.

A friend in the gynecomastia site told me about his site.

The rest is history 💞💃💞

I’ve been a panty “aficionado ” since I was 11, when my sister started wearing nylon panties.  They were so different from my tighty whities I just had to try them on. I’ve been enamored with panties ever since.

Fast forward some 45 years (7 years ago). I had just discovered Soma and their beautiful colors and prints. I’m a loyal Soma panty wearer. I noticed one day they had pretty bras that matched the panties. I loved the idea of wearing matching lingerie.

I went home and a few days later tried on my wife’s bra. I loved the way it felt, I it was like an embrace.

My next visit to Soma I asked to be fitted for a bra. I’m very happy I did that. I now have bras for any occasion,  including daily wear.

Bras and panties - because they're pretty!

I’m an every day bra wearer. In the beginning I found myself being as big as some women at work. Curiosity got the better of me and I found out how to measure. I was kind of excited to find out my size! But to confirm I ordered one, it came I tried it on and loved it. My Wife is big on support groups. So I tried looking for one for me. That’s when I discovered MWB. Just to be clear it was later-in life that I developed. So that makes me a gynocomastia case.

Having a forum like this has been a tremendous help in a lot of ways. Confidence is one. Knowing there are others out there experiencing similar things. Reading the stories has been entertaining and relatable. Advice has been helpful too. Then there are the tips, about sales what stores etc.

Do I enjoy having breasts? you bet I do!
Do I enjoy wearing bras?   YES!

Do I wish they would grow more? Absolutely!

I am thankful for this site for may reasons.

I joined here for the same reason I joined MWB years ago – I wanted a safe place to share, discuss, seek advice on bra and lingerie wearing from like-minded individuals.

I have no physical need to wear a bra (AA at best), just a love of feminily underwear. As a little boy I was always fascinated with my mother’s underwear, looking through catalogues that came in the mail, staring at the ladies ‘delicates’ in the local stores when shopping with my mothers, and helping her hang out and take hers in from the washing line.

I first put her underwear on at around age 9 on day when I was home alone – bra, panties, suspender belt, stockings and high heels. I was in love with the feel and look  and seeing myself in the full-length mirror it looked totally natural.

After that I grabbed every opportunity to be home by myself and wear it. So many close shaves with my mother coming home earlier than expected, or people calling in – but that added to the challenge.

Over the years I didn’t know who I was, felt guilty because I loved wearing lingerie, and generally thought there was ‘something wrong’ with me.

I was always looking for a safe forum to interact with others like me. Then I discovered MWB and my world changed.  Learned who I was, and not to be ashamed because I loved wearing a bra, and lingerie.

Nowadays I  always wear a bra with enhancers or forms every chance can, including going shopping, to medical appointments, the gym etc.

Cheers, Sailor

I joined this site having been a member of MWB for a couple of year.

Like sailor  I have no physical reason for wearing a bra but Only a great psychological need. I tried wearing my wife’s when we were first married but didn’t try again until many years later. After my wife of some 47 years died suddenly I thought as I had always felt the desire I would buy my own. Thus for about 7 years I have worn a bra every day with matching panties.

I have been through many feelings of guilt and shame but thankfully I have spoken with other members of this site and am so grateful to know that I am not alone. I enjoy the feelings of soft female underwear and usually underdress if I have the ipportunity. Tonight I am wearing a dress and stockings as well and so grateful that I can come here and not feel guilt ridden.

I like chatting with men that have a passion of wearing women’s clothing. Myself like many men love wearing lingerie, when I started at the age of eight I was flat chested and stayed that way till in my late sixties. I was deep in the closet till I couldn’t take it anymore and came out to my wife somewhere in my early forties.

I found this site because I was looking on the internet if I was the only male out there that had to wear a bra.
I have a severe hormone imbalance that caused breast growth and a host of other things.IMG_3713.jpgImage Enlarger

Maddi provides many good reasons for why you might be here.  I’d like to provide a few others that quite a few of us here have, as well.

  • I have very small boobs, but when I, or a sales associate, measure them, they come out as “C-cup”.  But being a tall guy, they don’t show themselves much.  But I like the feel of wearing a bra and showing some projection.  I wear a bra every day and put it on in the morning as I do any other piece of clothing.
  • I like to wear pretty things, or, at least, attractive things.  I find “menswear” quite boring and unimaginative.  “Womenswear”, on the other hand, is quite attractive.
  • Wearing “women’s” things is very empowering to me.  I feel good about myself and confident wearing a full set of underwear: bra, panties, nylons, garters/girdle, etc.
  • I first started trying on women’s things when I was a very young and curious lad of 8 or 9.  I liked it then and it never went away.  About 10 years ago, I finally decided to do something about it.  I was 67 years old by that time, and the desire and interest to wear nice things never left me in all that time.  From conversations here and with other “cross-dressers” I have found out that this is a very common profile.  In a country of nearly 350 million, it turn out there are millions of us with similar interests and habits.  I am not alone.
  • As I have grown more and more comfortable wearing bras and panties, I have also tried other clothes as well: dresses, skirts, shoes, slips, make up, jewelry, and so forth.  I feel great when I do.  I feel powerful and in charge of myself.  I wish I had taken up this line of clothing much earlier, it may have helped my in my professional life.
  • While this site is “we wear bras”, it is not just for men with gynecomastia, it is for ANYONE who has an interest in wearing a bra (and maybe other things), for ANY reason.  You don’t need to be transitioning, or even considering it. You don’t have to be a “crossdresser”. You might like it for “play time” or other sexual reasons.  We don’t care.  Whatever your reasons, you are welcome here.  All we ask is two things: to be “family friendly” and to participate in the conversation.

Way back in time while getting dressed one morning I asked my wife if i was getting boobs or just getting fat. She looked at me and replied “you are getting old!”. Thanks a lot. Fast forward a few years while mowing the pasture on my tractor I discovered the dreaded “boob bounce” and it was uncomfortable. I took a break and mentioned that to my wife and she said to try one of her leisure bras. Not wanting to seem too enthusiastic I sort of grunted and went back to mowing. A bit later I took another break and told her maybe I should try the bra and she got one out for me. I never mentioned that I had 2 that I had “stashed” and wore in secret but the mowing and leisure bra was my opening and it did help. At dinner that night I brought it up and told her I was going to Kohls to buy my own. Of course I came home with 2 underwire and one was a sexy lace bra. I got the old “eye roll” but nothing else was said and over time I had quite a collection and she was fine with it. So my bra wearing is somewhere between need and want. A few days ago I was going through my collection to find some to donate and ran across some I had totally forgotten about like this one. It’s a Dobreva front close minimiser.

Hello I fall into both categories I suppose because as a child I was always attracted to see women in their bras and underwear and when I turned 12 and hit puberty I started to develop breasts bigger  than any girl in my sixth grade class.of course I was embarrassed and constantly teased and told I needed to get a bra…I finally tried on one of my mom’s and I was surprised when I saw how Iooked wearing it …I was able to mostly fill out my mom’s 38c…. this started me trying all types of bras and lingerie and I always loved the looks I got from people who noticed how big my chest was… now I am nearly 46 and have decided to embrace and enjoy the fact that I have breasts I am 100 percent heterosexual… not attracted to men…I have always thought about being with a she-male or trans…I am also trying to get my breasts as big as possible using a pump and lavender oil now…. thinking about trying transfemm enlargement cream…I’m now a full 40c … hopefully I can get to a natural D or DDScreenshot_20240220-000436-1.pngImage Enlarger

I did want to add a few things to my original post. If you are new to bra wearing, I do realize that the photos that I have shown can be rather flamboyant I think is the right word. If you are a man and here because you want support for you chest you can always start out with sports bras or compression shirts. Bras are very feminine by nature and can be intimadating. Small steps are always in order so that you can feel comfortable both mentally and physically for you first! Myself I wear some kind of bra all of the time, quite often, it is a sports bra. The ones that I have in my photos I consider some of my most comfortable supportive bras.

That is right to any one out there some of them are underwires and yes they are EXTREMELY comfortable!

* I am here because someone at gynecomastia.org where I was active for a few years suggested I check it out. I did, and love it here and am grateful to be among all you wonderful people in sharing experiences, insights, perspective and just feeling part of a broader community of men who wear this that and the other of items from across the aisle. I can’t express how priceless it is to be part of a forum like this, for when offline, you don’t feel you’re the only one wearing these things for comfort and honest purpose.

* I am here because I have gynecomastia and currently at a small C to full B I need support. I recognize I have breasts and am fine with being a guy who needs and can fill a bra and have been doing so for about a year and some months now.

* Beside the reality of having breasts and wearing a bra as a result. I have found I am just more feminine in my interests now days. Unsure if it’s suppressed expressions or interests of past years that never got to enjoy or experiment with. But some reason in the last year I just felt compelled to drift more toward the other side of the aisle and try more things. This has lead to wearing womens underwear full time and other things and this forum has really opened me up to that experience and been a place I can comfortably share this evolution of self. I have become inarguably much more satisfied with myself, and have found since these changes, my anxiety issues and depression has faded dramatically. It has as well lead itself to me curious about encouraging breast growth and just enjoying my femininity that has begun to come out more.

* Lastly, I am here just to contribute and try to be helpful. I can’t express how much value it has been to talk with everyone here. I think if more men set aside their ego’s and pride, they’d find a lot more comfort in life. If I didn’t develop gynecomastia, I’d probably still just be an anxious and not so happy guy. Because of gynecomastia, it has lead me to a few different places that lead me here, that lead me to finding myself and I’m very grateful for that. And feel if people come across this site, I hope they see it as more than just a lot of guys who enjoy wearing this that and the other and see it as a community they can find tremendous value in.

Thanks for speaking out.  It can be, and is, so helpful to those who are just discovering they want or need to wear a bra.  While some of us may wear in secret and others wear openly in public, I, for one, think you are spot on regarding the “therapy” the people her provide.  It is open, non-judgmental, and caring.  Thanks to everyone for making this an enjoyable place.

I’ve always been somewhat somewhat infatuated with lingerie.  The feel of the material, lace, colors, and such.  Discovering normal teenage relations with girls, confirmed my orientation with out any doubts and I but that aside.  Yet here I am, full time panty wearer, and nearly full time bra wearer. After middle age weight gain, I grew my own boobs, so, began a quest to get a few properly fitted bras.  I’ve since shed the weight, but still clearly have boobs, which nicely fill a B cup.  Just like potato chips, you can’t just have one (bra that is!)

@Hisgirls, I love your comment, “Just like potato chips, you can’t just have one (bra that is!)”. I have 25, all with matching panties which my wife knows about.

That’s how I feel. I was infatuated with lingerie as a little boy and I could wait to try my first bra on (aged 9). I’ve never really had breasts and at age 71 I’m a 38A at best! I wear panties 24/7 and bras to some extent almost daily.

Like @Bali said, members here are a fantistic bunch, and I wouldn’t be where I am now in accepting who I am in a bra!

Cheers, Sailor
